Miramichi Multipurpose Complex

The Miramichi Complex project was part of a public‑private partnership with the Government of New Brunswick and the City of Miramichi. With an area of ​​over 70,000 square feet, the complex includes a hotel, offices, and a retirement home. The 80‑room hotel includes a conference centre, a restaurant, a fitness centre, and an indoor swimming pool.

A major renovation took place in 2014‑2015, bringing modernization in order to optimize its competitiveness and income. The construction works were performed while maintaining hotel services and minimizing the impact on customers, also during the high season. The work includes the replacement of the windows, the modernization of the bedrooms and bathrooms, including the replacement of all finishes, the complete transformation of the restaurant, the modernization of the lobby including the reception relocation, the modernization of the conference rooms, the swimming pool, the training room, the changing room, and the extension of the laundry room.

AXOR owned the asset until its sale in 2019 and took care of all stages of development and financing of the project.
