Bell Sports Complex

The Bell Sports Complex is a unique project as this location not only had to meet the requirements of a professional team but also cater to the different needs of amateur leagues supported by the municipality of Brossard. The 250,000 square feet building features two National Hockey League sized ice hockey rinks, a FIFA‑compliant soccer field, the Montreal Canadians Training Centre, a specialty shop called La Zone Canadiens, a wellness club, a physiotherapy clinic, and a restaurant bar.

Achieved as part of a public‑private partnership, AXOR is co‑owner of the asset and has assumed full responsibility for all stages of development and financing of the project.

CHALLENGES & ISSUES

The main challenge was to find mitigation solutions to impact as little as possible the tenants and customers of the adjacent shopping centre.
