Installed power: 5.1 MW
Date of commissioning: 1998
Location: Saint-Henri-de-Lévis, Quebec
Etchemin River
The Jean-Guérin spillway dam built in 1911 is later acquired by Hydro-Québec during the nationalization of electricity. The site is then recovered by AXOR in 1997 which then builds a hydroelectric installation, including a water intake, a penstock and a power station which houses the Saxo-Kaplan turbine with a power of 5.1 MW.
The project is now operated by Columbus Energy Corporation Inc., an affiliate of AXOR. A power purchase agreement signed with Hydro-Québec Production is in effect until 2038.
